Life in Southeast Asia has taken me well beyond the boardroom. I've led trips through Smiling Albino, cycled from Lhasa to Kathmandu via Everest Base Camp, and hiked Canada's West Coast Trail. Other rides have taken me through the Alps and along the Dalmatian coast.
I've run half marathons at Angkor Wat, been a PADI diver since the late 1990s, and played ice hockey with North Korea's national team in Pyongyang (with them, not against them). An off-road motorcycle course with Simon Pavey was considerably more fun than studying for the Thai IOD exam.
Earlier chapters included acting and modeling for television, print, and film. These days, I'm more likely to be on stage as an MC or speaker, at business forums, community events, and the occasional wedding.
